The diploma project explores the concept of monumentality, the ways it is perceived, and how these qualities can be translated into sculptural design. The objects combine cast crystal glass with red marble. Through these constellations, a sense of danger and imbalance is evoked, while the boundaries of functionality are simultaneously tested and redefined. The use of rough quarry stone introduces an element of rawness and ensures the uniqueness of each piece.
